Welcoming and Inviting Master Bedroom Makeover

This master bedroom was outdated in functionality and style and had a mishmash of toys and rocking chairs that were holdovers from when the children were babies, and it was definitely in need of a refresh. The bedroom is used by the family for everything – dance parties, gymnastics, reading and playing games. There is a reading nook and a green velvet upholstered bench at the foot of the bed that gets a lot of use. Toys are contained in a basket and ottoman. The space is decorated with artwork, organic fabrics and textures and an easy DIY painted arch behind the bed.
