New Build Condominium Makeover
This homeowner downsized from a traditional home to a condo and brought along her furniture, but the pieces didn’t fit, and they were the wrong style. The design goal was to make the new space kid-friendly and comfortable for family gatherings. See the details of this new build condominium makeover in this House & Home video:
In the living room, there is a focal wall with a fireplace flanked by low built-ins, a TV and artwork, a large comfortable sectional, and a dramatic light fixture. An entryway was created using scenic wallpaper, a round mirror, chairs and table. In the center of the space is a round dining table in close proximity to the island and a dark hutch for displaying family photos and other decor.
A striking navy wood veneer wallpaper accent wall installed in a parquet pattern is the focal point of the master bedroom. A full wall of sheers covers the windows. The bed is blanked by two large nightstands; two chairs and a table create a seating area at the foot of the bed. A colorful patterned wallpaper adds a fun element to the powder room.
