Coastal-Inspired Renovated City Home
This coastal-inspired renovated city home combines the coastal aesthetic with modern elements. The entryway was enlarged and a top added to the radiator to create a concole, making it more of a landing space. In the living room, gray shelving units that showcase textiles and wooden decor collected during the homeowners’ travels were added to both sides of the fireplace, and a large sectional makes the space perfect for movie nights. A built-in with a black honed marble countertop houses a bar fridge and wine storage and creates a bar area in the dining room. The kitchen has gray shaker cabinetry with brass pulls and a fun detailed backsplash; the breakfast nook has banquette seating, a jute rug, throw pillows, window coverings and an art TV that makes it super functional for the children. Upstairs, the master bedroom is a serene space with an upholstered headboard, task lamps on either side of the bed, and a vintage chest. The girls’ bedroom has a white vanity and chair with a colorful cushion and coordinated window treatments. Take the tour in this House & Home video:
