Living Room Makeover Using Existing Furniture

This living room can only be configured a certain way because of the adjacent walking space, entryway and office. There’s also the TV in the built-in, and everything has to face the TV to keep everyone happy – or does it? Designer Rebecca Robeson presents her living room makeover using existing furniture in this video by The Kinwoven Home:

The first step was to re-do the built-in decor, removing the TV and replacing it with an abstract painting the same size as the opening, and adding flanking gold panels. One sofa was positioned in front of the built-in with the other smaller sofa at a right angle. Two chairs and a large coffee table complete the seating configuration. The neutral color scheme for the room was pulled from the area rug. Tripod lamps flank the large sofa. Throw pillows, plants, artwork, console tables and a bar cart provide the finishing touches.
