How to Install Paver Edging
Adding a stone border around your flower beds provides structure and enhances ease of mowing. Learn how to install paver edging in this HGTV video:
1. Use a lawn mower to determine the edge of the beds. Mark the path of the border.
2. Remove the grass along the border with a shovel.
3. Use pavers to measure the width of the trench.
4. Dig a trench about 6 inches deep.
5. Add a layer of paver base to the trench and tamp down.
6. Install the pavers. Use a level and rubber mallet to make sure the pavers are all level and even with the wall.
7. Fill in the gaps with polymeric sand to join the pavers together and keep weeds at bay.
