Modern Streamlined Tiny Home

This modern streamlined tiny home in Portland, OR was designed by the homeowner, an artist, and her father, a retired architect, and is located on a friend’s property. Take the tour in this Living Big in a Tiny Home video:

The house is 24′ x 8-1/2′ with a chocolate brown metal exterior and deck. The design is Scandinavian-inspired, and light Russian birch is used throughout the home. The lounge has LED lighting and a sectional with storage. In lieu of a loft bedroom, there is a raised bed that lowers into the lounge via remote control. The kitchen is equipped with raised countertops, a small gas stove and fridge, fold-up table, open pantry, and a washer/dryer combo. There is loft storage and a bathroom with toilet, basin, and mirror. An especially clever solution is the concealed shower hidden by a sliding wardrobe.
