Modern Scandinavian Style Entryway and Dining Room

Instead of an entry that you simply pass through, this one is meant to be more of a conversation space that also doubles as a lounge. It’s anchored by a charcoal gray mid-century modern sofa. Two lambswool stools offer versatility for extra seating when guests arrive, and the texture of the stools adds a little bit of whimsy to the space. There’s also plenty of wall space to hang your stuff or place your keys. A floor-to-ceiling cement-covered fireplace adds another focal point right inside the front door.

The dining room has a minimalist modern design with an oversized Danish modern light fixture that anchors the space. A dining table with a concrete base and a reclaimed wood top seats up to eight. The sleek jet-black European style chairs are not only pretty but also comfortable. On the right side of the dining room, a wall of vertical slat wood adds a ton of architectural interest, and on the floor, a chunky rug adds a lot of warmth.
