Entertainer’s Open-Concept Kitchen

The entertainer’s open-concept kitchen and living room in the 2019 HGTV Urban Oasis has plenty of seating, a wide open space for cooking and tons of natural light. See the feature in this HGTV video:

The kitchen design is open concept with a little bit of a twist. The island offers nearly 10 feet of work and prep space, and instead of seating, there’s open storage along the front and back and two dishwasher drawers. Custom floor-to-ceiling cabinetry provides integrated storage and conceals the refrigerator, and it has hand-carved handles instead of hardware. Farmhouse style windows over the oven flood the kitchen with natural light.

The kitchen seamlessly flows into a living room that’s perfect for entertaining. There’s a 10-person sectional along the back wall and a great play on contrast with bright white walls and stark black window trim. The same contrasting color scheme is seen in the throw pillows, the rug and the art. The oversized wall tapestry is a modern interpretation of classic Nordic sweater patterns.
