The exterior is built with recycled windows and corrugated iron and Western red cedar cladding. A unique wedge-shaped pop-up roof with built-in windows provides standing head room in the loft.

On the inside, beautiful timber shelving, countertops, stairs, and flooring along with the white walls, large windows and plants make this home bright and inviting and lets the family engage with the outdoors.

The kitchen has lots of storage and flows out to the small day deck. A full-size fridge is housed under the stairs. The lounge area with a built-in sectional with storage and HDMI cable that can connect to a DVD player so the family can watch movies.

There are two loft spaces. The daughter’s loft has a big-girl bed and desk. Underneath is the bathroom with a waterfall vanity, vessel sink, composting toilet and a small shower/tub combo; there’s space for adding a washing machine. The parents’ loft has standing room with the pop-up roof.
