Fairytale Cottage on Vancouver Island
This fairytale cottage on Vancouver Island was inspired by a whimsical treehouse and is located directly on the shoreline. Take the tour in this Living Big in a Tiny Home video:
Built from materials locally sourced from the island, the 600 square-foot home has a timber frame and a curved cedar shake roof. The custom windows, doors and hardware were made by local craftsmen. Inside, there is a contemporary kitchen, a living/dining area with a stone fireplace, and a bathroom with shower, and the loft bedroom has a queen is large enough for a queen bed.
