How to Make an Outdoor Movie Screen

Want to enjoy the warm weather and a good movie at the same time? You can create your own outdoor theater by making a screen for your backyard from PVC pipes and a drop cloth. Learn how to make an outdoor movie screen in this video by Better Homes and Gardens:

1. Use a hacksaw to cut pipe to length.

2. Attach pipe elbow to each end of one 7-foot piece.

3. Add 5-foot piece to each elbow.

4. Add T-joints to both ends.

5. Connect T-joints with second 7-foot piece.

6. Add 3-foot pieces to bottoms of both T-joints.

7. Lay out a 6 ft x 9 ft canvas drop cloth and cut off excess.

8. Attach cloth to top and bottom of frame using hook-and-loop tape.

9. Drive U posts into ground.

10. Slide screen assembly onto posts.
