Inexpensive white subway tile runs all the way up to the ceiling and across the window wall and balances the exposed brick on the other side. The color palette starts with the oiled oak flooring and continues with white IKEA cabinets with gold hardware. One window was removed to make room for a large pantry, full refrigerator and extra prep space. Oversized breezy pendants over the island add a beachy touch.
