1930’s French-Style Bathroom
Interior designer Brian Covington discusses the inspiration for his 1930’s French-style bathroom in this Kohler video:
The name of this bathroom, “Le Bain Parc Monceau”, derives from a section of Paris where many beautiful limestone mansions were built between 1910-1920.
A pared down Louis XVI style console vanity provides the inspiration for the rest of the room. The vanity and fixtures have a clean, classic, deluxe art deco appearance. Additional features of this bathroom include:
- English brown oak paneling
- Noir Saint Laurent and Botticino Royal marble flooring
- Pewter leaf ceiling
- Antique spotted mirrors
- Steam shower with transom windows
- Tub area and deck
