1930’s French-Style Bathroom

Interior designer Brian Covington discusses the inspiration for his 1930’s French-style bathroom in this Kohler video:

The name of this bathroom, “Le Bain Parc Monceau”, derives from a section of Paris where many beautiful limestone mansions were built between 1910-1920.

A pared down Louis XVI style console vanity provides the inspiration for the rest of the room. The vanity and fixtures have a clean, classic, deluxe art deco appearance. Additional features of this bathroom include:

  • English brown oak paneling
  • Noir Saint Laurent and Botticino Royal marble flooring
  • Pewter leaf ceiling
  • Antique spotted mirrors
  • Steam shower with transom windows
  • Tub area and deck
